Imran Nazir Khan got popularity from the TV show ‘Maddam Sir’. Some time ago he was in discussion about his statement in Shraddha Walker Murder Case. He had said that Shraddha was his friend. Shraddha had told him that her live-in partner and accused Aftab Poonawala indulges in drugs and Shraddha wants to get rid of his addiction. Well, now the actor has spoken on the casting couch.
Actor expressed pain on casting couch
Imran Nazir Khan has revealed in a conversation with Koimoi that new actors often become victims of casting couch. The actor said, “Early in my career, I experienced the casting couch while auditioning for roles. Co-ordinators and casting directors told me that they would give me a good job if I got intimate with them. I flatly refused them. I think, every new actor goes through this phase, be it male or female.

Imran Nazir further said that big casting directors take advantage of newcomers using good connections. The actor said, “There are some well-known top casting directors who have good connections, so they take advantage of newcomers. Even Ayushmann Khurrana and Ranveer Singh have spoken openly about this. I think such auditions should be taken on talent and merit.
